Microsoft is constantly trying to discover and climb peaks in the fitness landscape. As result Microsoft has adapted to a constantly changing business climate. It was not an easy road to success for the American-based multinational computer technology company.Every endeavor Microsoft took on, whether it was a failure or not, was valuable to their success today. They applied many things that every business should consider to be successful: Porters Principles of Competitive Advantage, Porters Five Forces Model, network effect, and Robust Adaptive Strategies.

Consumer Eye for the consumers

As consumers ourselves, we have a connection with this section and need to express our points of view. From this case to present, technology has been constantly changing. We want to know where we stand with the technological advancements that occur within a blink of an eye. We also want to explore how different age groups and the new generations will deal with technology. Specifically, how will Microsoft affect the upcoming generations?
Microsoft targets products that would substantially give them a competitive advantage, lock in current consumers, and bring in new ones. They worked with Home Products which include the Streaming TV, Xbox, and Zune. They also were associated with Embedded Products.
